About the position
Youth Drugs and Alcohol Advice (YoDAA) is a Victorian information service providing specialist youth drug and alcohol information, advice and referrals via multiple channels (email, online, telephone). YoDAA promotes a coherent and coordinated Youth focussed AOD response with a network of specialist partner organisations. YoDAA provides one simple access point to treatment, support and information for young people, carers and staff.
The Senior YoDAA Youth AOD Advisor works closely with the YoDAA Manager, AOD Advisors, YSAS sites and partner organisations to achieve this purpose.
Some of your key responsibilities will be:
- Provide Youth AOD advice, information and referral for a range of audiences making contact via multiple channels.
- Contribute to YoDAA’s project work and capacity building activities in the Youth AOD sector.
- The development of Youth AOD advice and information materials on-line or in other digital formats.
- Support Youth AoD advisors in the YoDAA team deliver program objectives.
- Mentor, coach and model practice excellence.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners.
