This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Procurement Manager to lead and optimise procurement activities within the industrial and manufacturing sector. The role focuses on driving efficiency, cost savings, and supplier relationships to support operational success.As a Senior Procurement Manager you will have the autonomy to manage the UK procurement division for a global manufacturer. You will need to be both strategic and be hand-on in the role ad you will lead on all procurement / supply chain activities. You will be managing multiple categories which include packaging, repair materials, consumables, services, transport/ logistic, and warehousing. You must have experience working in this category area, but the biggest spend is within transport/ logistics/fleet and facilities management.

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives.
• Oversee supplier selection, negotiation, and relationship management.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry regulations.
• Analyse market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement activities with operational goals.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to maintain quality standards.
• Manage procurement budgets and report on expenditure.

Senior Procurement Manager- Supply Chain Manager (Indirect Procurement)Multiple Locations – Peterborough, Oxford or CarlisleA successful Senior Procurement Manager should have:

• Proven experience in procurement within the industrial, packaging or manufacturing sector.
• Experience of category management – You will be managing multiple categories which include packaging, repair materials, consumables, services, transport/ logistic and warehousing
• Strong knowledge of procurement practices and supply chain management.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Ability to develop and implement cost-effective procurement strategies.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience managing and mentoring teams to achieve objectives.
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements.
