Due to a recent business win, our client has an urgent requirement for an experienced Procurement Professional to support them deliver a project for 6 months.The Senior Procurement Specialist will have worked for a service provider and have a strong background in in-direct spend with a focus on Logistics (rail, sea and air).The Senior Procurement Specialist will focus on countries/regions and ascertain and analyse the current logistical arrangements. They will work with existing and new suppliers and carry out end-to-end tenders and award new contracts. They will implement and embed the new supplies and manage the contract.Experience and knowledge required for the role:

• Proven experience in delivering end-to-end procurement tenders/projects
• Experience in logistics (road, sea, air) would be highly advantageous but not essential
• Have strong experience in commercial and contractual delivery
• Strong negation skills that can drive value for the organisation including benefits and savings
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Not afraid to challenge the status quo
• Passion for delivery and highly motivated with a drive for results
• Project management skills
