This not-for-profit is a house-hold name that makes an immeasurable difference to Australian’s facing their darkest moments. They’re looking for a Senior Digital Product Manager who can help them create a seamless digital experience for their customers across all of their channels.
About the role:
This is a crucial role, where success will involve transforming what have been disparate products and experiences into a single journey that empowers our help seekers to find what they need, when and where they need it.
This role will focus primarily on the ‘help-seeker experience’ – the end-to-end journey of help-seeking within a range of applications. The applications include a high traffic website with a focus on self-help and wellbeing as well as voice and live chat. Working closely with the clinical team, this role has a focus on aligning service delivery with product experiences to ensure consistency, transparency and efficacy for help seekers.
Some key responsibilities might include:
- Deeply understanding and advocating for the needs of the customer
- Championing and facilitating user research sessions and workshops in collaboration with the Design team
- Understanding, interpreting and synthesising qualitative and quantitative data inputs to inform product roadmaps and strategy
- Lead on the delivery of digital product projects through all phases of a product’s lifecycle
- Developing and communicating a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company’s strategic goals
- Working with technology teams to define user stories, test their implementation, and sign-off their release
- Providing leadership and guidance on product management practices including backlogs, roadmaps and showcases
- Making informed decisions to prioritise and execute work that most efficiently realises need and balances competing objectives
About you:
With a strong understanding of product management, you’ll have a good handle on how to define problems and iterate through solutions through the product lifecycle – from MVP through to shipping new apps. You’ll take a pragmatic approach to prioritisation and where compromise is needed, have a keen understanding of how to best manage a backlog and be delivery leaning.
Technically astute, you’ll be able to communicate the problem effectively to all stakeholders and bring them on the journey.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of product management principles and best practices
- A track record of shipping new features, prototypes and products
- An ability to prioritise and execute work that adds most value to the customer
- A background establishing and maintaining product roadmaps
- Experience with Jira, Trello, Notion, Slack and Agile processes highly regarded
- Outstanding communication and organisation skills
