About this opportunity:Join our Lab team to deliver the new Digital Customer Waterfront proposition for our new and existing IP&I customers. We’re creating a new innovative and engaging Digital Proposition, providing a single life view of people’s money ‘Today’ and how they can improve it for ‘Tomorrow’. The proposition will help close some of the big UK gaps, where people are not saving enough for their future, or protecting what’s important. We’ll create a mobile first experience to help people grow their Wealth, think about what they might need in Retirement and Protect everything that’s important.What you’ll be doing:
- Work with the wider Lab, Platform and IP&I teams to shape, develop, deliver and optimise the Waterfront Proposition
- Support development of Platform or Lab objectives and key results and provides product performance and benefits realisation data.
- Inputs into business 4YOP, customer plan and technical roadmap as required.
- Support development and prioritisation of Lab epics, features and stories which support Product strategy.
- Support shaping the overall Product Vision and own elements of the Product roadmap.
- Ensuring compliance of overall Product.
- Accountable for overseeing product governance (e.g., CMIA / SPFIA activities), Business readiness activities (e.g., training and comms).
- A leader in the Platform with line management responsibilities for more junior Product Owners.

- Experience in applying agile methodologies to optimise innovation development and delivery. Significant experience with agile development methods & tooling e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Jira & Confluence, and experience of leading & working as part of an agile team.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver change, working with engineers, designers, and analysts. Able to create a product vision and define work to be done.
- Experience of delivering and optimising Digital Products
- Be data driven and bring evidence-based decision-making to explain ‘why’.
- Experience of line managing others and creating an inclusive team environment that motivates, attracts, and retains talent.
- To be a phenomenal communicator, dynamic and adaptable. Can influence without authority, trusting and empowering others with responsibility and comfortable challenging senior leaders. Intellectually curious, loves learning new skills & capabilities and role models the learning culture.
- Ability to encourage teams across LBG with energy and passion and a focus on collaboration to lead and drive the shaping of new initiatives forward.
