The Office of Faculty Academic Affairs and Professional Development is seeking a Sr. Program Coordinator to join our dynamic team to support the many exciting development programs within the Emory School of Medicine.
Under direction of the Director, the Sr. Program Coordinator’s efforts will include full-cycle planning, implementation, assessing and reporting of workshops, events, and initiatives of all scales. Example activities may include management of leadership development courses, faculty orientation and onboarding support, and faculty recognition initiatives including the annual Celebration of Faculty Eminence ceremony. The role will also support the SOM recognitions committee with calendaring and minute-taking and support other activities as requested.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, organized, dependable, detail-oriented and deadline-driven. This position will interact with a wide range of both internal and external stakeholders, including the Dean, Associate Deans, Chairs, faculty and staff. The ideal candidate will be able to pivot their communication style to meet the needs of their customer. It is expected that the sr. program coordinator will demonstrate a genuine passion for and appreciation of our mission to support faculty careers.
Due to the nature of programs, occasional early mornings and late evenings will be required. At this time, this role will be granted the opportunity to work remotely regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department. This role requires residency in the state of GA. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
