The ABIM Foundation (ABIMF) is currently seeking a
Senior Program Officer to
join its team. This role manages ABIMF grant programs and learning
networks. This individual is responsible for developing and
implementing learning opportunities for grantees and other
partners, communicating the results of our funded programs, and
researching and pursuing funding opportunities that can expand and
amplify ABIMF’s work.
Reporting to the Executive Vice President, ABIM Foundation, the
Senior Program Officer is responsible for the following:
- In collaboration with the Senior Director, Foundation Programs,
manage grant programs and processes through individual assistance,
overall program reporting, and relationship maintenance across
varied grants.
- Manage the learning network for grantees within the Building
Trust through Diversity, Health Care Equity and Inclusion, and
Diagnostic Excellence in Internal Medicine Training grant
program.
- Build and implement a learning system community around ABIMF
grantees and alumni, through internal and external opportunities
for collaboration, coaching, and training.
- Prepare and present reports and publications for internal and
external stakeholders that communicate results, learnings, stories,
and lessons learned from ABIMF-funded work.
- Facilitate and support the process for selecting grantees, in
partnership with the Senior Director, for the Building Trust
through Diversity, Health Care Equity and Inclusion, and Diagnostic
Excellence in Internal Medicine Training grant program and other
ABIMF grant opportunities.
- Collaborate with ABIMF colleagues, consultants, and external
vendors to manage ABIMF-sponsored projects, ensuring timely
completion of deliverables and expected outcomes.
- Assist with the annual ABIM Foundation Forum (the “Forum”),
including development of agenda, execution of events, articles and
speaker scripts procurement, and provide on-site support for Forum
workgroups.
- Research and identify opportunities for ABIMF to collaborate
with patient/consumer groups.
The ideal candidate has an undergraduate degree or equivalent
professional background, with a minimum of 10 years of experience
in program management. A background in managing learning networks
and grants is required. Proven track record navigating within
healthcare industry is preferred.
The successful incumbent will have an affinity for the ABIM
