SENIOR PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT OFFICER, P5

The United Nations Global Service Centre provides critical Supply Chain, Geospatial, Information and Telecommunications Technologies services and Training to all Secretariat Entities, Peacekeeping and Special Political missions, Agencies, Funds and Programmes of the UN system worldwide. This position is located in the Office of the Director (OoD) at the United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC), Office of Supply Chain Management (OSCM), within the Department of Operational Support (DOS), based in Brindisi, Italy. The incumbent will report to the Director of UNGSC, or other designated officer. The UNGSC Facilities Upgrade Project will cover the development of a Capital Master Plan (CMP), the improvement and modernization of infrastructure of the campus belonging to the Italian Air Force, renovation of several UNGSC facilities including the re-design of the base entrance, conference and training spaces, logistics/administrative areas, etc. The Senior Project Manager will oversee the entire lifecycle of this project, planning and design, sourcing of relevant service providers, ensuring timely delivery and execution, compliance with regulatory standards and applicable occupational safety and health as well as fire safety standards, and alignment with UN and donor objectives.
