We’re seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead our Finance Transformation workstream with a key focus on Adaptive Insights remediation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of new systems and changes to existing systems, focusing on system, data, and process changes.
- Hands-on involvement throughout the project lifecycle, from conception to implementation.
- Collaborate with agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Manage stakeholders at all levels, ensuring their needs are met and maintaining their support.
- Facilitate backlog grooming, stand-ups, planning sessions, and guide the team through the Agile journey within Uniting.
- Drive change across multiple streams of programs, ensuring effective relationships between implementation partners.
- Lead complex projects with budgets up to $5 million.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Agile Certification (preferred).
Experience
- Minimum 7 years of project or agile experience in IT and/or business projects.
- Extensive experience in transforming financial operations, implementing ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics Finance and Operations), and optimising financial processes.
- Proven track record as a Scrum Master or Project Manager.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Ability to navigate complex organisations and manage through influence.
- Experience in implementing process change and IT systems across broad geographical areas.

- Ability to work effectively at all levels within an organisation.
- Team-player with great interpersonal skills.

Preferred
- Graduate or postgraduate studies in Commerce/Economics or Finance.
- Experience with large-scale enterprise or transformational efforts, particularly in Finance.
- Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA.
