About the role

A key role within the Commercial Transformation team, the Senior Project Manager will provide leadership and management of team members and contribute to team culture and ways of working.

Day-to-day, you’ll manage direct reports which may include Junior Project Managers / Project Managers, ensuring a high performing team across all projects. You’ll manage projects varying in type, size and complexity within agreed timescales, within approved budgets and to an agreed level of quality and define the deliverables, resource requirements and work plan for these projects, and manage their development and delivery.

You’ll work alongside the other Senior PM’s, being responsible for continuous improvement of the Project Management function. You’ll manage all aspects of the project delivery, from the initial stage, through to handing over to the service team, through the effective management of assigned resources, both internal and external and approved suppliers.

About You

There’s a few must haves…

You’ll possess extensive experience in managing and delivering Business Change and IT projects and a good understanding of both Waterfall and Agile project management approaches. You’ll be able to meet challenging targets with a flexible approach to working patterns to ensure deadlines are achieved.

A brilliant Communicator – you’ll have highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to liaise at all levels across the organisation. As an engaging motivator, you’ll be able to motivate, challenge and inspire individuals through to deliver high performance whilst being an empathetic leader.
