We’re seeking a Senior Project Officer to help us identify exciting opportunities to achieve

We are looking for an experienced senior project officer to help us deliver across our key
priorities. As we forge ahead with delivery of our strategies, getting our sites ready for
development and making them attractive to investors.

About You

To apply for this post, you should have:

• Been educated to degree level and have demonstrable, relevant experience in project
  management or delivery (e.g. net zero, innovation, grant management).
• Experience of project development and successfully securing funding.
• Strong commissioning and clienting skills to manage and deliver funding.
• Experience in partnership working with senior stakeholders across the public, private and
  university sector, including central and local government.
• Experience working with SMEs and/or innovators with a good understanding of their unique
  needs, as well as an ability to provide constructive challenge to proposals.
• Sectoral and/or regional experience is useful and you will need to be able to quickly get
  up to speed in new fields and operate credibly with partners.

What we offer

• Up to £45,000 pa, depending on experience.
• 28 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
• Full time, permanent.
• Flexible working arrangements.

Initially the office base will be at County Hall in Leicestershire, with the opportunity to
work from home for 2-3 days each week. There is a requirement to travel across the East
Midlands on a regular basis.
