The opportunity:

The Centre for Community Child Health provides leadership within and beyond the Centre for the synthesis, dissemination and application of knowledge to optimise the impact of research and improve the health, development and wellbeing of children and families.

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Senior Project Officer to support our knowledge translation efforts by taking a key role in website redevelopment. The Senior Project Officer will have a strong background in content development and a passion for using digital platforms to facilitate the dissemination and exchange of knowledge.

They will be part of a team focused on enhancing the online presence of projects and ensuring our websites are effective tools for sharing research findings, engaging stakeholders and fostering collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a passion for using digital platforms to facilitate knowledge translation to improve the health, development and wellbeing of children.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with researchers and stakeholders to identify knowledge translation needs, goals and priorities
  • Supporting the redesign and redevelopment of websites to ensure they align with the objectives of initiatives
  • Supporting the content contributors to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to best practices for website content development and publishing
  • Managing knowledge translation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget
  • Developing project plans, timelines and milestones, and monitoring progress against established goals and objectives

About you:

  • Tertiary qualifications in relevant field (e.g. public health, communications, digital media)
  • Demonstrated experience in knowledge translation/science communication or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in web content development, content migration and content management systems
  • Experience in building and maintaining effective partnerships with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience in project management
