Job Title:Senior Quantity Surveyor/Estimator
Location:Urmston ManchesterThorn Baker has teamed up with a leading civil engineering and building contractor with over 30 years’ experience in construction across the UK, as they are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join their dynamic team. Your Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for a variety of civil engineering projects.
• Manage cost planning, analysis, and control to ensure project efficiency.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to manage procurement and tender processes.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator in the civils sector.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost management.
• Ability to work on both civil engineering and refurbishment projects.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• A team player with a proactive approach and attention to detail.
