They boast a strong track record of award-winning projects and continue to set new benchmarks in sustainable construction across the UK.The OpportunityAs an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will initially oversee commercial packages on a £50m new build residential scheme in Leeds. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects ensuring comprehensive compliance with contractual obligations and maintaining strict budgetary control. Your expertise will be essential in supporting the efficient and successful delivery of the development to the highest standards.What We’re Looking ForExperience:
- Extensive background within the industry with at least 5 years of experience working in a Senior Quantity Surveyor position or similar for a leading contractor or subcontractor
- Previous experience in delivering commercial packages on projects within residential / accommodation sectors
- A proven portfolio of delivering commercial packages on projects in excess of £20m

Key Responsibilities
- Procurement operations
- Review of tender cost provisions
- Reporting regularly to the Commercial Manager
- Compiling material usage and reconciliation reports
- Evaluate and compare bids from contractors and suppliers
- Assess the cost-effectiveness of alternative design solutions
- Mentor and guide junior quantity surveyors and other team members
- Apply efficient and dependable cost control techniques and strategies
- Oversee cash flow and provide regular financial updates to stakeholders
- Set up systems for cost reporting to efficiently track and control project expenses
Expected salary
£70000 – 80000 per year
