Main responsibilities:
Your main responsibilities will involve leading the recruitment process for assigned business sectors in a growing and evolving organization. The work is motivated by the increasingly high expectations from both internal clients and external applicants, all within the context of international competition for talent in the marketplace. As part of the Unit´s objectives, you will actively contribute to sourcing and attracting a well-diversified pool of suitable candidates to meet recruitment targets while maintaining EIF’s commitment to its D&I ambition. Furthermore, you will be responsible for implementing various key HR processes so as to contribute to the efficient functioning of the HR team and the EIF as a whole. The role requires outstanding teamworking skills, high attention to detail, agility, customer-oriented mindset, dynamism and a genuine passion for people and business matters.
Accountability:
In assigned business areas, you will implement the strategy to brand EIF as an employer of choice, expand its outreach in order to attract the adequate and timely resourcing of all EIF’s staffing needs in line with EIF recruitment processes through proactive planning and in close cooperation with internal clients. This includes but is not exclusive to:
- Preparation of job ads, publication and outreach in order to target the right market segments, assessment and shortlisting of applications and interviewing candidates;
- Actively source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks);
- Together with colleagues in the team, foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates;
- Issuance of employment offers and contracts and serving as the main point of contact for the selected candidate, contributing to a positive on-boarding experience;
- Actively contribute to employer branding initiatives such as organizing and attending job fairs and recruitment events);
- In compliance with relevant EIF policies and in cooperation with the other team members, ensure proper archiving and actively participate in the development of improvements;
- Actively participate in relevant projects, initiatives, IT developments in the recruitment domain including participation in tenders and working groups as required.
- University degree preferably in HR, Business Administration, Law or other similar;
- An HR background with at least three (3) years relevant post-graduation recruitment experience preferably within the banking and/or finance industry. Prior recruitment experience in international organizations (i.e. IFIs) would be a considerable advantage;
- Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks are prerequisite;
- Any – or combination – of the following would be considered an advantage:
- Prior work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or other similar role;
- Proficiency of PeopleSoft HR and Business Objects and/or Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs);
- Knowledge of the terms of employment and HR procedures within European Institutions;
- Highly conversant in MS Office tools;
- Excellent command of English. Knowledge of French and/or other EU languages would be an advantage.
