The Senior Regional Project Advisor will have the overall responsibility for keeping the project on scope, delivered on time and within budget. S/he will lead the management of and reporting on the implementation, making key decisions and solving problems in short timeframes while ensuring operational and program quality and integrity. This includes ensuring effective organizational management and communication interacting with other projects, Ministry of Health, County Health Management Teams (CHMTs), and national and district stakeholders. S/he will ensure timely and cost-effective project implementation, reporting of activities, and will be responsible for all project deliverables to the donor. S/he will supervise a team of highly qualified staff and will report to the Country Director. S/he will also liaise, coordinate and work closely with the US based team and especially the Project Director to ensure optimal project outcomes.
Knowledge: (functional or technical; i.e. federal legislation, finance, program planning, public healthcare standards, proposal writing, human resources practices, etc.)

An annual work plan with specific SMART performance measures will be developed
