Senior Reporting and Analytics Analyst

The Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC) invites applications for a Senior Reporting and Analytics Analyst position. A successful applicant will engage in applied health services and population health research in a project-based, team setting. The successful candidate will support survey and quality improvement activities on maternal and family health projects.
Senior Reporting and Analytics Analysts are expected to perform technical skill tasks and may also contribute to project leadership and administration. They are expected to complete work independently on tasks with moderate complexity while assisting or completing advanced complexity tasks with appropriate assistance and oversight. Senior Research Analytics Analysts may work on multiple projects at a time and have significant project responsibilities.
Typical responsibilities are project-specific and may include combinations of the following: leads or assists with quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis; provides subject matter expertise; designs data collection instruments including questionnaires; assists as a liaison to project partners and sponsors; composes reports, whitepapers, and presentation materials; presents results to project sponsors and other audiences; reviews work products from subcontractors; assists with the development of conference presentations and manuscripts for peer-reviewed publications; conducts literature searches and literature reviews; and assists with the development of protocols and the composition of institutional review board (IRB) applications.
Minimum Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent is required.
Additional Education Required:
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree or 2 years of relevant experience with an advanced degree in a relevant field of study is required. Demonstrated usage of SAS, Stata, or R for data analysis is required. Requires successful completion of a background check.
Additional Desired Qualifications:
An advanced degree in a relevant field of study is preferred. Training or experience in quality improvement science is preferred.

The GRC’s current work encompasses critical issues and challenges in public health and health services, including maternal and infant mortality, the ongoing opioid crisis, Ohio’s ACA Medicaid expansion, management of chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension, health equity, and health system payment innovation.
