Environmental Health and WASH Research Group under the Health Systems and Population Studies Division has focused on determining and mitigating environmental contaminants, evaluating WASH strategies for improved health, and generating evidence to understand the extent of environmental pollution and contamination in low-resource settings.

• The Senior Research Assistant will report to the Principal Investigator and will be responsible for the statistical analysis of data generated from the project in the Laboratory of Environmental Health to conduct high-quality lab research within the guidelines of organizational values and guidelines.
• Enter and clean data using Excel format/Kobo Toolbox/Google forms
• Analyze the data by using statistical software; R, R-Studio, Stata, Smart PLS, Prepare graphs/slides for reports and presentations
• Check data for errors in consultation with field and lab staff.
• Manage data for various projects with strict confidentiality.
• Write initial report based on analysis of the project data.
• Create statistical research hypothesis and objectives
• Prepare project progress report for submission to supervisor;
• Revise reports based on feedback received from the supervisor.
• Backup database regularly in external drives/computers.
• Check internal and external validity of data and ensure completeness and correctness.

Required qualifications and experience:

• Master in Statistics/Applied Statistics with good academic records.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant fields.
