Senior Research Investigator

The Program of Enteric Infections and Vaccines under the Infectious Diseases Division conducts research with Mucosal Immunology and Vaccinology Unit (MIVU) for immunological and molecular genomic analyses for different enteric organisms. To achieve this goal icddr,b is working for controlling enteric infections,a detecting and controlling emerging and re-emerging infections with the collaboration of the relevant government and non-government stakeholders.
The Senior Research Investigator reporting to the Scientist will be required to plan and implement research projects, supervise research teams, ensure high-quality data collection and ethical standards, organize training for research teams on standard operating procedures, increase the capacity of teams to conduct population-based research, and coordinate research studies with government and non-government partners within the guidelines of the research protocol and organizational values and guidelines.
