Senior Research Officer

The Emerging Infections and Virology Laboratory is working on Viral infections including HIV, HEV, HPV, and most recently SARS-CoV-19 infection. The laboratory scientists conduct research and activities as principal investigators, co-principal investigators, and co-investigators, collaborating with national and international institutes/universities and with different Divisions of icddr,b. The laboratory also works for anti-viral drug discovery, diagnostic kit evaluation, and new therapeutic and vaccine trials.
The Senior Research Officer reporting to Assistant Scientist will be required to plan, organize, and implement all activities related to lab research of different projects to conduct high-quality research and implementation of the project activities within the strategy of research protocol as well as organizational values and guidelines.
