About the opportunity
As Senior Security Cloud Engineer, you will work closely with the Security Manager to ensure Uniting has appropriate operational security controls and technology strategies in place to meet our ICT security requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring security control requirements are translated into operational capability in Microsoft Azure Cloud.
With your well-developed technical skills you will offer expertise on operational security controls relating to Cloud and Network services and work collaboratively with the broader ICT team to resolve complex security control issues.

About you
You will bring with you:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline
- Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect (Security) would be advantageous
- Previous experience in managing operational security in Microsoft Azure Cloud
- Knowledge on implementing security controls based on ISO 27001, RFFR, CIS, & Essential 8
- Experience in Data Centre Management, Server and/or storage administration design and/or management within a medium to large service organisation
