As a Senior Software Developer at AJW Group, you will play a critical role in building, testing, maintaining, and evolving the back end of our digital platforms. This includes overseeing the NextGen Portal, customer interfaces, EDIs, APIs, and various software development initiatives.

What you’ll be doing:

• Researching, designing, implementing, and managing software programs
• Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications
• Writing and implementing efficient code
• Deploying software tools
• Maintaining and upgrading existing systems
• Working closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts

AJW Group’s Digital and Technology team is heavily automated, structured around well-defined processes, and data-driven. Individuals in this role are expected to have a keen interest in technology, learning on the job, from their colleagues in adjacent areas, and through personal development.

You will bring:

• Expertise in C#
• Knowledge of .NET Framework & .NET Core.
• Experience in serverless technology, preferably AWS
• Oracle and SQL Server Experience: Preferable knowledge of PLSQL.
• Experience Building Docker Containers: To test and deploy Microservices.
• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Using standard coding techniques in an organized method, rather than simply hand-coding solutions in an abstract approach.
• Self-Learner: Keeps up with changes in technology and is confident in their ability to solve problems using new technologies and be able to learn the basics of new languages.
• Outcome Focused on Business Deliverables.
• Ability to Quickly Prototype and Present Solutions.
• Self-Managing: Able to progress solutions without being given specific tasks daily
