Reporting to the Head of Warehouse Solutions, you’ll be accountable for creating, developing and presenting innovative, best in class warehouse solutions, which provide existing customers with significant cost benefits and enhancements to service levels. You will be responsible for bringing layouts and operational concepts for both manual and automated warehouses to life, with either 2D AutoCAD or 3D design, and rendering.Pay, benefits and more:We’re looking to offer a competitive salary and package, which will be discussed further during telephone interview. Plus, many other perks such as a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme and our continued focus on internal promotions.What you’ll do on a typical day:Work alongside new and existing customers, understanding their requirements before undertaking, creating and presenting solutions analysis and designWork independently on warehouse design projects whilst supporting multiple projects, varying in scale and complexityDevelop a variety of operational concepts for both manual and automated solutions utilising innovation in order to meet customer requirementsTake responsibility of the project management of the analytical and costing process, ensuring best practice is maintained throughoutProvide assistance with the production of internal and external proposals and presentations including producing relevant sections and taking part in customer presentations as requiredWhat you need to succeed at GXOExperienced in designing and presenting warehousing solutions to customersPrevious or current experience within 3PL and automation is essentialHighly autonomous, and experienced in responding to RFQs, data analysis in a highly customer-facing roleHighly proficient in excel and Auto-CAD, ideally with exposure to warehouse design softwareExposure and understanding of warehouse management systems would be beneficialWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.GXO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
