Job Description

Job Description AECOM is actively seeking a talented, energetic technology minded geographic information system (GIS) Specialist for immediate employment. The GIS Specialist will operate within the enterprise master planning and geospatial solutions that improve the planning process of our projects. A successful candidate will work both independently and in close collaboration with various subject matter experts, AECOM staff, and support the highest quality GIS products

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in geography, or related field

• 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

• Demonstrated experience using Python, and open data sources

• Experience with Master Planning and Site Design.

• Experience with AutoCAD

• Must have the ability to work independently and with a team of professionals.

• Excellent time management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AutoCAD experience is preferred

• Microsoft Office experience

• Eight (8) years of experience in ArcGIS is preferred
