Design, configure, administer, analyze, monitor and support the University’s new travel and expense system (Concur) and processes. Provide subject matter expertise in the design and implementation of processes that improve the efficiency, effectiveness and quality of experience. Lead small- to mid-size travel and expense enhancement projects. Provide day-to-day administration, configuration and operations of Concur and related systems for the NYU Washington Square campus. Provide systems analysis, technical advice and support for users. Create queries, reports and analyses. Hybrid schedule preferred (2 days on-site), fully remote work arrangements will be considered.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Education:
Master’s Degree Information Science or a related discipline. Concur associate or professional configuration certification. Cognos Reports Builder certification.
Required Experience:
3+ years related experience in travel and expense systems, reporting and user support. At least 2 years of experience administering Concur travel and expense systems.
Preferred Experience:
Hands on experience with financial applications in a higher education environment.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Knowledge of various procure-to-pay solutions. Understanding of encumbrance accounting.
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $114,800.00 to USD $134,800.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
