Title: Senior Systems Analyst
Location: Manchester
Hybrid: 1-2 Days onsite
Start date: ASAP
Salary: £300 – £370 p.d (inside ir35)
Contract: 6 months
Sector: ITResponsibilities:

• Analyse & Document Requirements – Interpret business needs and translate them into clear IT requirements for new or modified systems.
• Systems & Process Analysis – Assess existing (“as-is”) systems and create detailed specification documents to support effective solutions.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams – Work closely with Business SMEs, Architects, Developers, Testers, and Business Analysts to ensure seamless system implementation.
• Develop UML Sequence Diagrams – Create detailed system models to support solution design.
• Review & Support – Peer-review SA deliverables (e.g., IT Requirements, Data Mapping documents) and provide guidance across multiple workstreams.
• Process Governance – Guide teams on internal banking processes for approving new templates for third-party use.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Systems Analyst, with strong IT requirements gathering and documentation skills.
• Strong understanding of banking/financial services processes (preferred).
• Ability to develop UML sequence diagrams and other system documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to support junior SAs across multiple workstreams.

Expected salary

£78000 – 96200 per year
