Job description
This role offers a unique chance for an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to play a pivotal part in a dynamic, independent, international organisation. Reporting directly to the Tax Controller, the position provides significant involvement in both strategic and operational tax functions.Key Responsibilities:
- Providing expert tax estimates for tenders and contracts, ensuring compliance with tax terms in drilling service agreements.
- Managing tax registrations and bank account setups for new country operations.
- Reviewing and overseeing the submission of annual tax returns, withholding tax, and VAT returns across multiple jurisdictions.
- Monitoring and managing tax payment deadlines, contributing to accounting and budgeting processes.
- Preparing quarterly and year-end tax reporting, addressing queries from Auditors and management.
- Responding to tax audits and information requests from tax authorities.
- Developing and maintaining transfer pricing documentation and internal agreements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Extensive experience with the tax implications of multi-jurisdictional international operations.
- Strong knowledge of accounting systems.
- Exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
