So, when it comes to your life outside of work, ask us about our flexible and remote working policies designed to help you get the most out of life.As a Senior Consultant Project Manager in ‘Aerospace, Defence, Security and Technology’ (ADS&T), you’ll take the lead in our Programme Delivery Practice. Your role will be primarily client-facing, identifying, shaping and managing better delivery capabilities. You’ll lead Agile delivery teams in markets such as Defence, Security & Intelligence, Energy and Transportation. And you’ll be supporting our clients to maximise the benefit of digital transformation and enable innovative ways of working.Your purpose:We are looking to attract experienced consultants with a proven delivery background, emphasising programme and project management within solution delivery, software, system integration, cyber security, infrastructure, and related disciplines.We have senior project management positions available within our ADS&T business, which also includes our Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) market.The successful candidate will be expected to make contributions to practice and business development. This will include driving organic growth, leading bids to develop new business propositions, and researching potential new markets.You will be representing AtkinsRéalis to our clients, so being an advocate of our values and ways of working should be demonstrated within the role, these include:

What you can bring?You will have demonstrable technical experience that covers the following areas:Essential-
- Proven track record of successful delivery of technology-intensive projects and programmes in the public or private sectors.
- Has recognized P3M qualifications (Prince2, APM PMQ, MoR, MSP), Waterfall and Agile methods.
- Experience and understanding of complex IT systems that includes electronic hardware and software (bespoke and COTS), integrations, real-time systems, digital infrastructure, and cyber security.
- Can evidence good delivery practices for governance, reporting, estimation & planning, risks & issue management, financial control, and change management.
- Practical experience of implementing and running IT and engineering delivery methods such as V-Model, Waterfall and Agile.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience of managing to a contract and able to effectively manage scope and change both internally and externally.
- Has established good delivery financial management practices and is able to interpret and report on financial data and analysis to senior stakeholders.
- Experience of supply chain management and associated contracts, utilising a variety of contracting methods, such as T&M and Firm Price.
- Strong stakeholder and communication management.
Desirable-
- Membership of the APM/PMI, Chartered Project Professional (ChPP) status is desirable. Service delivery management standards such as ITIL would also be seen as an advantage.
- Computer Science or Engineering related degree with background experience in a technical discipline would be seen as an advantage.
