Senior Transportation Decarbonization Analyst

WRI Brasil is seeking a professional to join the Transportation Decarbonization team of the Cities Program. The person will support the development and execution of projects and initiatives that promote sustainable urban mobility in its most diverse areas, with a main focus on supporting the transition to low-emission transportation fleets.

Main activities and/or responsibilities:     

• Preparation of technical reports, narratives and project presentations;
• Conducting studies, research, production and analysis of data related to financial mechanisms, governance, and business modeling applied to the electrification of public transport in Brazil;
• Development of training, publications and technical articles;
• Project management, monitoring and delivery of products within established deadlines;
• Organization of meetings, workshops and technical events, in addition to conducting their dynamics to engage stakeholders;
• Support in the preparation of work plans and implementation strategies;
• Monitoring activities and results, ensuring alignment with the project’s strategic objectives.
• Support the management of Transport Decarbonization in the processes of articulation with institutions from the public, private and civil society sectors on a global, federal and subnational scale;
• Facilitate the connection and exchange of information with other WRI Brasil programs and with other offices in the network;
• Support the communications team in preparing reports, blogs and other pieces to disseminate technical content;
• Other responsibilities may be assigned to you as the organization or department changes its strategy.

Necessary Requirements and Qualifications:     

• Completed degree in Engineering(s), Economics, or related fields;
• Postgraduate or master’s degree in related areas will be considered a differential;
• Experience in projects related to electromobility
• Proficiency in the Office package, with advanced skills in using Excel;
• Experience in preparing technical reports, narratives and/or scientific articles;
• Advanced English (written and oral); knowledge of Spanish will be an advantage;
• Proactivity and ability to solve complex problems;
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams, in matrix environments;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills;
• Availability to travel .
