Are you a visionary leader ready to make a significant impact in the community? We are seeking a dynamic Senior Vice President of Marketing and Chief Brand Experience Officer to join our team. In this role, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of all marketing activities, positioning our organization as a charity of choice and a welcoming community hub. Reporting directly to the CEO/President, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the YMCA’s brand identity and fostering engagement among diverse stakeholders.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field; advanced degree preferred
Minimum of 10 years of progressive/relevant experience in marketing, communications, and advertising
Experience in non-profit administration and understanding of YMCA’s mission and values
Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of developing successful marketing strategies
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
Proficiency in social media management and other digital marketing tools
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy:
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to elevate the YMCA brand and support organizational priorities
Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on brand management and perception issues
Collaborate with Membership Team to enhance member engagement and retention through targeted CRM communications
Drive revenue growth by optimizing marketing strategies to attract new customers and donors
Evaluate and integrate marketing technology solutions to enhance effectiveness
Success Metrics
Build close relationships with agency partners
Develop cohesive and effective marketing structure for the Association
Operations:
Analyze market trends and customer feedback to inform business strategies
Oversee all aspects of marketing communications, including branding, public relations, advertising, and social media
Develop and execute internal communications initiatives to foster a strong organizational culture
Manage relationships with media outlets to amplify the Y’s impact and visibility
Collaborate with Chief Development Officer on annual report and financial development collateral
Success Metrics
Coordinated messaging across all platforms of communication
Enhanced presence with social media engagement
Build close relationships local media representatives
Leadership:
Provide guidance and mentorship to marketing team members, setting clear objectives and priorities
Ensure adherence to brand standards across all touchpoints, including digital platforms and physical facilities
Cultivate relationships with agency partners to support marketing objectives
Act as a representative of the Association as needed
