Org. Setting and Reporting
-Supervisor:
The incumbent reports to the assigned Deputy Principal of Training Centre.
-Supervisees:
Technical/Trade Instructors (Electrical), A 09-12.
Responsibilities
1- Ensures that the approved programme is carried out efficiently, and that equipment and other training facilities are properly maintained, recorded and utilized;
2- Ensures that lessons, examination preparations, marking and keeping of class records are carried out efficiently;
3- Checks regularly the weekly progress reports of trainees and advises on necessary educational and/or disciplinary measures to be taken as appropriate; advises supervisor on the general progress of each course and stresses on individual cases of failure to achieve necessary improvements;
4- Prepares developmental plans for Vocational Training Instructors of the course or group of courses in his/her specialization;
5- Teaches in his/her subject of specialization as and when required;
6- Participates in the recruitment and selection of trainees for the various courses in his/her technical/trade group;
7- Performs other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor

Education
1- A university degree in an approved course of study with major specialization in the field of Electrical taught plus successful completion of a special professional Instructor Training Course of at least one year duration OR
شهادة جامعية في دورة دراسية معتمدة مع تخصص رئيسي في مجال الهندسة الكهربائية بالإضافة إلى إكمال دورة تدريبية خاصة للمدربين المحترفين لمدة سنة واحدة على الأقل أو
2- Two years post-secondary technical course plus two years Instructor Training Course OR
دورة فنية بعد المرحلة الثانوية لمدة عامين بالإضافة إلى دورة تدريبية للمدربين لمدة عامين أو
3- Advanced university degree in a subject relevant to his/her field of Electrical .
شهادة جامعية متقدمة في موضوع ذي صلة بمجاله في مجال الكهرباء .

Work Experience
1- At least one year of satisfactory teaching experience as Technical Instructor “A” is required OR
سنة واحدة على الأقل من الخبرة التعليمية المرضية كمدرس تقني “أ” أو

2- Three years experience as a fully qualified Trade Instructor “A” is required .
ثلاث سنوات من الخبرة كمدرب تجاري مؤهل بالكامل “أ”.
Languages
