The Idaho Department of Fish and Game (IDFG) is currently recruiting for a Senior Wildlife Technician – Habitat opening at our Craig Mountain Wildlife Management Area (WMA) near Lewiston.
The successful candidate will assist the Regional Wildlife Habitat Biologist implement wildlife habitat programs on the Craig Mountain WMA. Responsibilities include providing supervision to seasonal staff; planning and directing noxious weed control; assisting with habitat restoration, tree and shrub planting, and maintenance of food plots; working directly with private landowners and sportsman; using and maintaining tractors, ATVs, boats, power augers, and chainsaws; conducting plant and animal surveys; collecting data and managing electronic databases; assisting with report writing.
