  • Project initiation system design including SIL classification, detailed design & project planning and configuration of safety systems
  • Provide technical specification to procurement and supervision of suppliers
  • Internal testing & e xecuting or leading the Factory Acceptance Test, transition to site, site installation, commissioning, and Site Acceptance Test,
  • Monitoring and controlling the quality of work
  • Formalising project closures

Service Engineer – The Person:

  • Experience in a similar role within the oil & gas / petrochemical / Industrial Automation environment
  • Minimum HNC qualification in an engineering or process related subject
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 and Health and Safety at Work Act
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • You are a highly motivated and flexible person who is willing to work at the North West office, customer sites across the UK and some offshore
  • Confident communicator with a professional manner, and the ability to absorb and impart information to others and work within standard operating procedures
  • Offshore certificates are highly desired, however full training can be provided

We are looking for an Engineer with 1-2 years experience of programming automated control systems. Any experience of DCS software such as Emerson, Yokogawa, Honeywell, ABB, Valmet, Rockwell or Siemens is highly advantageous, however we are very happy to accept applicants with PLC and/or SCADA experience with an interest to focus on DCS & safety systems.You will be given full training on a DCS system with progression available into the Systems team.Role is based in Cheshire, providing a healthy work-life balance with a blend of working from home and the office. There will be a requirement to travel to customer sites in Europe, UK, offshore and overseas as required.AE1
