Our Service

Stride Hub is a multi-agency service providing a ‘one stop shop’ for people between the ages of 18-64 with mental health issues and their carers and family members. Participants can access a range of community mental health support services; clinical mental health services, employment and housing services, and drug and alcohol services. The service offers full DBT clinical and DBT skills building interventions to the community.

Role Overview

The Service Manager will have a pivotal role in the overall leadership and management of the Stride Hub team in accordance with operational guidelines, including:

  • Leading and developing a multi-disciplinary team to provide primary care and support for all accessing Stride Hub
  • Overseeing and contributing to the development and implementation of clinical, financial, administrative systems and billing processes
  • Ensuring the Stride Hub team operates within a framework of continuous quality improvement and risk management.
  • Facilitating and convening meetings of the Clinical Governance Committee and associated subcommittees.

Requirements

  • General AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Accredited Mental Health Occupational Therapist, Credentialed Mental Health Nurse OR AASW Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (may consider applicants working towards mental health accreditation)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience managing a mental health service
  • Demonstrated experience working within a recovery-based model
  • Demonstrated expertise in the management of a multi-disciplinary service delivery team, with the ability to lead the coordination of care for people with complex needs including consultation and engagement with a wide range of professionals/stakeholders.
  • Highly-developed communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills including the ability to work and communicate effectively with clients, their families, community agencies and other professionals.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a high demand work environment and to exercise judgment and initiative.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a Blue Card
  • Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance
  • Current Drivers License
