  • Full-Time Permanent Position
  • Classification: SCHADS Level 6 with a salary range of $102,635 – $107,178 per annum + Superannuation
  • Salary packaging arrangements providing tax benefits available for living and entertainment expenses increasing your take home income where part of your wage is paid tax free each pay, savings thousands in tax each year

About your new role

The Service Manager is responsible for the ongoing management and further development of the Western NSW Suicide Prevention service. The Service Manager will work collaboratively with partners to improve and develop the overall service response to people following a suicide attempt to reduce the chance of repeat attempts. The Manager will also undertake a key role in service development, including evaluation and review of service outcomes.

The Service Manager will work closely with the Neami National Senior Manager Operations and other partners including Local Health Districts, Western NSW PHN, other community organisations, ACCHO’s and local Suicide Prevention Networks.

What you will bring to the role?

  • Experience in supervising, coaching and mentoring staff.
  • Certificate IV in Community Services or equivalent.
  • A strong understanding of recovery processes; and an ability to articulate and promote the value of and strengths gained from lived experiences of recovery
  • Ability to role-model and develop recovery-oriented and trauma-informed practices across the service
  • Experience in managing financials and budgets
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and attributes

  • Current Working with Children Check – required before commencement of work
