Our Carer Gateway is an initiative dedicated to providing not just information, but genuine support, counselling, and coaching to those who need it most. You will efficiently coordinate programs tailored to a specific client demographic or service, encompassing comprehensive planning, seamless delivery, and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders. Duties

  • Take the helm in orchestrating the seamless day-to-day operations of our centre, from coordinating vibrant community activities to organising unforgettable functions and events. Your knack for coordination will shine as you expertly manage client activities, ensuring every moment is filled with purpose and engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with our dedicated Team Leader to craft and communicate a dynamic activities program that excites and inspires. Your creativity and vision will shape a program tailored to meet the diverse needs and interests of our clients, both individually and as part of group activities.
  • Forge strong partnerships with community groups, entertainment providers, and venues, leveraging your exceptional networking skills to plan and coordinate enriching visits that leave a lasting impact!

Skills and Experience

  • Intermediate computer skills using Microsoft Suite applications
  • Demonstrated experience working in an organisation that provides health or community services would be an incredible advantage
  • Flexibility to accommodate occasional evening and weekend commitments, with the assurance that these events are meticulously scheduled well ahead of time
  • A passion for the customer and creating a customer experience people want to talk about
  • Proficiency in multitasking and strategic prioritisation of tasks
  • Strong emotional intelligence and outstanding attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience using a customer relationship management system or database
