We are looking for a motivated person to join our Seven Sisters Country Park team as a Park
Officer. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless day-to-day management of Seven
Sisters Country Park, whilst achieving the goals outlined in our Landscape Management Plan,
ensuring the natural beauty of the park is preserved.
With a strong working knowledge of countryside management, you must be able to plan, organise
and deliver projects and activities that achieve multiple outcomes across nature recovery,
access for all and climate adaptation. A strong team working ethic and well-developed
negotiating and interpersonal skills are also essential to ensure you can work effectively with
colleagues, partners and local communities.
Working with colleagues you will be responsible for ensuring our park’s buildings and
facilities are operating to the highest standard.
To achieve these goals, you must be an effective leader with the ability to support the
management of the team. The role will require tact and diplomacy, particularly when working
with stakeholders.
The working pattern for this post includes regular weekends and bank holidays, where you will
be undertaking tasks such as leading and helping with events / volunteers and providing
occasional cover for the running of the visitor services.
