GENERAL CONTEXT
Médecins Sans Frontières is an international independent medical-humanitarian organization, which offers assistance to populations in distress, to victims of natural or man-made disasters and to victims of armed conflict, without discrimination and irrespective of race, religion, creed or political affiliation.
GENERAL OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION
- Continue capacity building activities, as well as the development of learning solutions to design, organise, facilitate and implement simulation programmes following best practices
- Continue to progressively integrate simulation into different identified MSF ecosystems (systems and processes), to contribute to the reflection, improvement and innovation of its medical-humanitarian activities.
- MSF will continue to explore innovative uses of simulation in the field and at headquarters for the benefit of individuals, teams and the organization itself.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE
The main objective of this position is to participate on the design, organisation and implementation of simulation training, scenarios and learning solutions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- In close collaboration and supported by the TIC Simulation Program manager , the main duties and responsibilities of these position are:

- Support the subject technical content expert to develop simulation scenarios according simulation best practices.
- Participate in the organisation of the MSF field simulation scenarios packages.
- Participate in some of the pilot phases of specifics simulation scenarios at field level.
- Participate on the design and development of guidance, models, manuals, trainings, toolkits on how to implement specifics simulation scenarios package.
- Participate on the monitoring and reporting of the implementation of specific simulation scenarios package.
- Participate in the development and implementation of MSF Field simulation capacity building activities for targeted profiles and positions (trainings, remote training activities, support, mentoring/coaching, virtual sessions …).
SELECTION CRITERIA
- Medical degree , nursing or midwifery diploma.
- Minimum 1 year. of experience in designing, implementing and monitoring simulation scenarios and simulation based learning programs in academic and/or professional settings; especially in the medical/nursing/mirdwifery area.
- At least 2 years field experience in MSF or in other medical humanitarian organizations is would be an asset.
- Experience on developing learning programs/activities and / or carrying similar tasks described above.
- English and/or French. Spanish and/or Arabic are very much valued.
CONDITIONS
- Position based in any MSF OCBA Hub (Barcelona, MSF-Spain office delegations, Amman, Bogota, Dakar or Nairobi). Final location will be subject to the employability of the preselected candidate (residency, work permit, etc.), but with a preference to be based in Madrid or Barcelona.
- Temporal contract of 6 months.
- Full Time job.
- Annual gross salary: HQ 3A level + secondary benefits based on MSF OCBA Rewards policy. Subjected to local conditions.
- Starting date: As soon as possible.
