We are looking for an experienced, creative, and passionate leader wanting to become a key member of our Lifestyles leadership team, by managing one of our day service centres in Sydney’s North Shore.
Reporting to the Operations Manager Lifestyles, you will be responsible for leading a group of team leaders and disability support practitioners to deliver essential support, as well as engaging programs and experiences, to people with a disability. You will also have an admin assistant and supported employee in your team.
The Site Manager role is varied, rewarding and challenging, with responsibility for the complete management of the service. This includes quality service management of our clients, staff management & development, innovation in service delivery, ability to evaluate the service and make improvements, exploration of expansion & growth opportunities of the service offering, strong collaboration ability with other lifestyles service leaders, running engaging programs and activities, liaising with families, budget management, incident reporting, rostering and stakeholder management.
CPA’s Lifestyles service provides a range of centre and community-based services primarily to adults with cerebral palsy and other disabilities, promoting community participation and integration. The role is in St Ives, with occasional travel to our other sites in the Upper Northshore and Northern Beaches area.

What you can offer us
- Previous demonstrated experience (minimum 5 years) in a management role, ideally in a community-based, health or disability service.
- Strong team management experience of large teams, including recruiting, on-boarding, training, coaching, as well as career & performance management of staff.
- Ability to work pro-actively to meet the need of the service in the future as well as continuing to work on the needs of the present.
- Demonstrated experience in managing budgets and sustainable / cost-effective rostering practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills, where you will have experience liaising with key stakeholders, including families and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Foresight to predict upcoming changes in an ever-changing landscape, adapting to them for the best outcome of your service.
- Excellent project management skills and attention to detail, resulting in high quality outputs.
- Well-developed conflict resolution and highly enhanced negotiation skills.
- True team player, comfortable working with a broad range of diverse stakeholders.
- Highly developed work ethic founded on integrity, transparency, and consultation.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
- Ability to work in a reactive environment, making decisions correctly under pressure to get the best possible result for our clients, service, and staff.
- Willingness to receive constructive feedback and to be open to adapting to it.
Licenses / certifications required
- NSW Driver’s License (minimum P2)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement in the role)
- Current First Aid and Current CPR Certificates (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement in the role)
- Current WWCC (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement in the role).
