Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a talented, self-directed Senior Marketing Manager to lead digital, virtual, and in-person engagement programs in a fast-growing business. In this role as the Senior Marketing Manager for Executives, you will collaborate closely with the EMEA and Global Executive Marketing teams to deliver programs tailored to resonate with executive audiences in the UK and Ireland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and executing campaigns and programs, including activities such as demand generation, event programs and developing content. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting, fast growing business.
Key job responsibilities
- Responsible for growing engagement with executive customers and senior decision makers across UKI, helping this audience to understand the benefits of the cloud, and how AWS can help them achieve their business goals. This includes establishing a good understanding of the customer decision journey and executive personas.
- Develop, execute, digital and virtual programs that reach executives in UKI, to help accelerate their cloud adoption journey with AWS
- Partner with Global Executive Marketing team to ensure global audience foundational marketing resources (research, personas, messaging) and content (digital and events) consider and resonate with UKI executive audience.
- Adapt and/or refine global content into regionally appropriate content and/or alternative formats to market through different channels (digital, event)
- Clear, consistent, and frequent communication with stakeholders on the strategy, goals and performance of the Executive Marketing Program
- Manage program budget with accountability for program return on investment (ROI).
- Partnering with external agencies in support different elements of the program i.e. content, events, hospitality programs etc.

A successful candidate for this role is an independent, problem-solver with great business acumen and the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously while managing competing deadlines. The right candidate will possess strong project management skills, experienced with digital marketing, and able to execute efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You are an extremely organized individual with experience managing complex projects across stakeholders. You are exceptional at building relationships within the team and across the business. You will utilize your attention to detail, your experience in program and project management, and your excellent written communication skills to ensure high quality results.
About the team
You will partner closely with the AWS UKI marketing leadership team, and be responsible for working with field sales and marketing teams in UK and Ireland. The right candidate is results-driven, loves partnering with sales teams, has a passion for technology, and an entrepreneurial spirit.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience in developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs
– Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
– Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
– Experience in marketing or marketing research
– Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
– Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
– Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint
