SOC Analyst – Banking – LondonMy client, a leading multinational bank, is looking for a proactive and skilled Security SOC Analyst to join their growing team where you’ll play a key role in building and enhancing their SOC function at an early stage.As an early member of this dynamic team you’ll work on several key initiatives, including security telemetry, playbook writing, detection, and incident response. This is your chance to make a real impact in how security is managed within the bank whilst working with like-minded professionals in a collaborative environment.Requirements:

• Proven experience in a SOC role, ideally within the financial sector.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with EDR/XDR and SIEM tools.
• Solid understanding of incident response frameworks and methodologies.
• Proficiency in Linux and scripting languages (preferably Python, Bash).
• Demonstrated track record of leading projects and resolving complex security challenges.
• Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

Please note: This role requires you to be based in the London office 5 days per week.

Expected salary

£90000 – 120000 per year
