Social Media Associate/Officer
The Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI) is seeking a Social Media Associate or Social Media Officer (title to be determined based on candidate experience) to join the Communications team. This position reports to the Digital Director. This is a full-time hybrid position, working a minimum of three days a week in our Washington, DC office.
NTI is a nonprofit, nonpartisan global security organization focused on reducing nuclear, biological, and emerging technology threats imperiling humanity. We envision a world safe from preventable global catastrophe.
We collaborate with governments and organizations to raise awareness, advocate, and implement creative solutions. As an independent and trusted partner, we transcend traditional thinking and stimulate new ways to address urgent threats.
The Communications team is responsible for managing NTI’s brand, enhancing program impact, and educating and engaging the public through dynamic, outcome-oriented campaigns.

Hiring pay range: $66,000 – $91,000 annual, depending on prior experience. This position is eligible for health insurance benefits, as well as other generous benefits that are part of the NTI compensation package.
