SOCIAL MEDIA DIRECTOR WANTED

We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and energetic social media Director for our social media environmental justice political campaign to stop a major development near Joshua Tree National Park.

The social media Director will:

• Create a 4-month-term social media strategy campaign plan with the executive director and team for successful launch and longer-term moves.
• Create a 4-month calendar plan of strategic posts.
• Conduct research for the appropriate targeted individuals, groups and influencers.
• Create social media accounts across multiple social media platforms
• Create content based on calendar strategy of videos, stills, and motion graphics
• Responsible for all accounts across all platforms, reporting back to the team on activity.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attend weekly meetings with the Executive Director and team.

The social media Director will have support from the team at all stages of the campaign.

We are looking for a commitment of 4 months for the launch to successful engagement.

The ideal candidate will be a local to the Los Angeles area, however we will also consider remote people for this position.

The position pays $300.00 per month and the social media Director will be paid every week.
