What is the Volunteer Job?

We have an exciting opportunity for somebody to join our small, friendly, and growing volunteer team in this part-time, flexible and home-based role as an Social Media Officer at Verify Humanity.

​What Will The Volunteer Job Involve?

• Develop and manage social media content that focuses on the ethical and conservation issues associated with the hunting industry and Conservation Culling.
• Create compelling narratives and posts that align with the philosophy of #veganConservation, emphasising conservation over veganism as a dietary choice.
• Strategize and execute social media campaigns that effectively communicate our stance on compassionate conservation and wildlife management.
• Engage with our audience on social media platforms to increase awareness and support for vegan conservation.

Who Should Apply?

• Required Skills
  • Experience in social media management, content creation, or a related field.
  • A strong understanding of and passion for conservation issues, particularly related to the hunting industry and wildlife management.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging and persuasive content.
  • An understanding of vegan principles, specifically from a conservation perspective.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Required Personal Attributes
  • A passion for animal advocacy.
  • Reliable.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Other Requirements
  • Computer and good internet connection.
  • Weekly online meeting to discuss ideas, progress and plan work.

Verify Humanity was founded in August 2020 by Kate Fox and seeks to bridge the gap between conservation and animal rights by researching, raising awareness through social media and challenging conventions through campaigns. We are about to set up a new Charity Spotlight section for articles which we are very excited about.

Our major campaigns include:
