Education/Training: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Social Work, Social Science, Economics, Political Science, Development Studies, or relevant course
Location: Philippines only
Language: Filipino and English
Professional experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in the field of social protection especially government social insurance and social assistance;
- Excellent knowledge and understanding in social protection institutions (i.e. PhilHealth, SSS, and Pag-ibig) and policies;
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of theories, trends and approaches in the area of social protection;
- Understands social protection principles and their application to current national economic and development issues;
- Has a deep technical understanding of social behavioral change theory, and social behavior of Filipinos in the context of social protection;
- Proven experience and implementation of capacity building or awareness raising for the uptake of social protection; and
- Experience in raising awareness, knowledge sharing, management monitoring and evaluation of public programs.
Preferred Criteria:
- Experience working in government is an advantage; and
- At least 5 years of consultancy experience in development sector experience
