Description of the Assignment: The Social Worker will support the implementation of the ‘TransFormED’ project in Barbados. ‘TransFormED will be delivered in partnership with a local LGBTI civil society organisation (CSO) and is designed to link transgender women and gender diverse (non-binary, genderfluid, gender non-conforming etc.) people with existing education and training opportunities in the public and private sector, to enable them to access the labour market. Project beneficiaries will be provided with psychosocial, financial and other support to facilitate successful completion of the programme. TransFormED will also facilitate access to education programmes (to complete schooling or access university), vocational training, language courses, seed capital, business registration and digital literacy courses, among others.

 Period of assignment/services 12 months 

Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline.
