Job Description:
Social Worker:
Collaborating closely with the support assistant and the Project manager
Conducting returnees need assessment in the areas of intervention.
Promoting the project’s activities among families and local community in general.
Planning and shaping activities of the sodac in close collaboration with the project manager and involving the Community Mobilizers under the supervision of the project manager.
Individuating most vulnerable cases, monitoring and following up with their situation.
Shaping and modifying the activities delivered to support vulnerable cases in close collaboration with the Project Manager and involving the Community Mobilizers
Involving the families if and when needed for most vulnerable cases.
Follow- up the progress of the cases and individual plan through accurate records and preparing weekly and monthly
Present cases to the project manager and refer cases to the psychiatrist for assessment, screening and treatment if needed.
evaluate success through writing stories at least one case
Liaising to the target community rehabilitation and reintegration for example conducting seminars or workshops relevant to the
Offer general information and counseling support to the clients and make referrals to community center, NGO and local
Conduct additional and other duties assigned by team
Education and skill
collage degree Social Science, Sociology or Psychology (Must)
Previous experience as a Social Worker (minimum 2 years)
Speaking Arabic .English language is an asset.
Previous working experience with NGOs and good knowledge in humanitarian aid system and procedures. (minimum 1 year).
Computer literacy (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).
Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and attention to detail.
Good Communication.
