Social WorkersSalary: Band 7 (Level 2) – Band 8 (Level 3), £34,834 – £40,221 per annum. To aid attraction and retention of Social Workers, Trafford have in place a market factor supplement (up to £2145 per annum) which is payable monthly and reviewed on an annual basis.Contract: PermanentLocation: Borough-wide with main office locations Trafford Town Hall and Sale WatersideClosing date for applications – 9th June 2024Here in Trafford we are ambitious for our residents and our practitioners. You must be able to work in ways that promote independence, recognise the potential for change and through excellent practice enable people to maximise their strengths.You must possess good communication skills and be able to work proactively with a range of adults applying a clear understanding of the legislative framework for Adult Social Care. In addition you will be required to provide an effective response to safeguarding enquiries in line with both the Care Act 2014 and local policy and procedures.The successful candidates will be able to work as part of a team and autonomously and will be familiar working within a Multi-Disciplinary environment. Further, they will have knowledge of working within the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and will be able to effectively and professionally challenge to ensure best outcomes for our residents.We are currently recruiting qualified social workers for our Mental Health team:We have a number of social workers embedded in our community mental health teams. We are looking for social workers committed to delivering social work interventions to people experiencing severe and enduring mental health problems.
