Role: Full-Stack Web Developer
Level: Mid-Level (requires 3 years minimum experience, individual contributor)
Required Experience: Bachelor’s degree in programming/systems or computer science or other related field or 4 years of equivalent and relevant work experience. Additionally, requires work experience including advanced programming techniques and application design, 3-5 years. May require knowledge of distributed systems architecture, middleware, or object-oriented analysis and design.
Preferred Experience: WordPress, PHP, MySQL, and Modern JavaScript (Modern JS). Nice to have experience with Node and React.
Salary Range: $90,187.62 – $145,905.62 (typically $105,000-$125,000). Applies to locations with a market like our USHQ in the Greater Seattle area. A different range may apply based on your work location. Job offers within the range are based on relevant job qualifications and pay equity. Are you a standout performer in software development and passionate about impacting the world for good? If so, we’re seeking a talented Software Development Engineer to serve on our mission-critical Support Team. See yourself building the tools that will lead to a better life for thousands of children in the most vulnerable places around the world. In this role, you’ll be tasked with providing an excellent online experience for our donors. You’ll receive opportunities to expand and grow your skills as you work in a detective-like manner to handle urgent break-fix issues, collaborate with a diverse set of other teams, instrument monitoring systems, build automation for operational tasks, and just have fun solving problems. As part of the Support Team, you will also be part of an on-call rotation that gives heightened awareness of systems issues and addresses donor-facing concerns.

- You demonstrate a consistent ability to excel at working collaboratively within our 4-person team of developers as well as other teams we interface with.
- As a contributing member of the Support Team you are instrumental in helping us troubleshoot and come up with solutions for the toughest problems and bugs.

04 Salary Range & Benefits Your compensation and benefits are important to you so they’re important to us. The salary range for this role is $90,187.62 – $145,905.62. Applies to locations with a market like our USHQ in the Greater Seattle area. A different range may apply based on your work location. The typical hiring range is $105,000 – $125,000. Job offers within the range are based on relevant job qualifications and pay equity.
