Software Engineer for hybrid IT role with my client’s offices being based in SouthamptonMy client is looking to recruit Software Engineer with excellent .Net c# developer skillsThe Technology function is responsible for the delivery of business and technology change including the provision of robust infrastructure and IT service operationsThe Technology function brings technology enabled innovation to market by developing relevant, integrated and optimised solutions that are scalable, commercially viable and deliver long-term value aligned to the business strategy.Working as a strategic partner to the business the aim of the department is to build informed and robust future-orientated technology and skills capabilities that create the right environment.My client is looking for:Candidates will be able to demonstrate at least some of the following:Experience of taking business requirements and designing, implementing and producing high quality end to end products.Working with other members of the team to collaborate to produce high-quality software solutions contributing to and following established development practices.Experience of designing, developing and maintaining RESTful APIsUnderstanding of integrating with React, Next.js and Ionic applicationsTechnical knowledge and experience in producing resilient services to provide API services to front end systems.Technical expertise in Microsoft.Net and Microsoft.Net core.Technical expertise in developing RESTful backend services.Expertise in the use of standard patterns to support the use of unit test tooling and decoupling of code.Technical expertise in delivery of solutions via disciplined and controlled methods (CI/CD) through all the environments to live.Technical expertise in delivery solutions using Azure DevOps pipelines and support services.Experience of working in a Scrum/agile environment.Appreciation of Single page applications: React, Next.jsjsTechnical expertise in designing and developing reusable and testable micro services.Knowledge of the design and build of (secure) databases using Microsoft S Server.**** This role is hybrid and candidates need to be able to demonstrate that they will be happy to work in the Southampton based Head office 2 days a week, please bear this in mind when applying ****
